Insulspan, the premier supplier of high performance structural insulated panels (SIPs) for use as walls, roofs, and floors in residential and commercial structures, is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, ambitious Sales Representativeto lead revenue growth in the coming years. This position will be based out of Meridian, ID with a Western US territory.

Insulspan – a part of Calgary-based PFB Corporation, has experienced double digit growth and is perfectly positioned to continue to take advantage of the expected enormous growth in the energy efficient building products sector. Our high-quality SIPs are precision made in two factories, located in Michigan and British Columbia and shipped to a growing customer base across the United States and Canada.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITY

To drive strategic growth through the enthusiastic promotion and sale of Insulspan products. You will be accountable for meeting sales volumes, margins, and customer satisfaction objectives.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and Responsibilities Include

  • Identify new opportunities to increase sales volumes
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the company throughout the sales process providing accurate and updated information to both parties as needed
  • Assist clients during the consultation and estimating phase of the building process
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Ensure timely customer payments
  • Promote Insulspan products through customer education and attending trade shows
  • Monitor, update and assist in the management of sales tools and marketing materials
  • Maintain sales budgets and forecasts and update the lead database as appropriate
  • Attend and participate in sales meetings

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of the construction industry and ability to read blueprints is required.
  • Knowledge of Energy Efficiency, Building Codes, and Design is preferred
  • High level of professionalism and integrity
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales goals, execute client negotiations and close complex opportunities
  • Willing to travel and work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent organizational, decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Self-directed, able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to set, coordinate, and accomplish multiple priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present
  • Able to develop deep relationships through out customer organizations

This is a full-time position; base salary is commensurate with experience. Commission, profit sharing, medical benefits & 401k plan available.
