The Director of Operations, Perennials will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer while working closely with peers across Perennials and Sutherland’s global supply chain. Position will be responsible for the efficiency and effectiveness of Perennials’ Domestic Operations, which includes: Demand Planning and Inventory Management, Warehousing, Fulfillment, Logistics and Product Sampling/CRM. We are seeking a dynamic and natural leader, exceptional communicator and expert problem solver.

Key Responsibilities:
Motivate, lead and develop employees and position them for success.
Provide the best possible Customer Service and On-Time Performance in the most cost-effective manner. Develop a high performing, data driven culture to assist in Process Improvement across the Supply Chain, using Lean and Six Sigma techniques.
Leverage existing metrics and develop new ones with the intent of driving operational improvements.
Manage the company’s high-growth rate through advanced planning and forecasting. Collaborate with all members of Senior Leadership to stay ahead of new projects and initiatives.
Assist the COO in identifying areas of improvement through the use of advanced technologies.

Qualifications:
10 to 15 years of Inventory Management and Logistics experience
Increasing responsibility to include management of multiple direct reports and teams
Candidate must be a demonstrated leader with strong critical thinking skills and the confidence to speak up about matters that need attention; very detail oriented
History of collaboration with functional leaders from across the organization
Solid experience in performance measurement and continuous improvement
Demonstrated Project and Change Management skills
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or other technical discipline; APICS certification highly desired
Strong customer service focus
