Acquires knowledge and experience in coordinating internal/external communications of the organization within established policies and procedures. May assist in developing internal and/or external communication materials (newsletters, internet/intranet pages, reports) and events. Provides support on various communications-related projects on an ad hoc basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists with background research and content development for speeches and presentations.
Coordinates nominations for various media lists, maintains corporate achievements and awards lists.
Tracks and monitors media coverage.
Coordinates a variety of specialized communication responsibilities.
Assists with projects as needed. Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline from 4-year college or university, and up to 2 years of relevant experience and/or training. Real estate experience is a plus, but not required.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages.
Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
