TUVA is looking for Documentum/Java Developer to join our team. The Documentum/Java Developer will work within a large team of experienced technical professionals to provide maintenance of existing Documentum and Records Management code and applications and develop new features, modules and capabilities for Enterprise Document and Records Management platform.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provide maintenance, enhancement and bug fixes of existing Documentum and Records Management code and applications.
Upgrade custom built Documentum WDK applications.
Migrate custom built Documentum WDK applications to new platforms.
Design, develop, and implement new Documentum features, modules and applications using DFC, DFS, REST, or Visual Basic.
Create DQL and API scripts for Records Manager objects (e.g. containment policies, security policies, formal folders, cabinets, types, groups and documentum permission sets).
Ability to configure Records Manager and Retention policies.
Design, develop and implement modules for integration with other applications (e.g. SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Business Objects, custom J2EE interfaces).
Develop and implement ad hoc reports.
Provide technical advice, guidance, and directions to external applications interfacing with Enterprise Document and Record Management platform.
Follow Enterprise Performance Lifecycle, Agile and/or Waterfall Methodology to develop code, modules, and applications and promote deployment into Production.
Write Version Description Documents and other required documentation to support deployment of the code and applications to the respective environments using approved methodologies.
Perform development of the required system components using approved software.
Support deployments through different environments to Production.
Perform unit, system, regression, performance and integration testing of developed and enhanced applications, tools, automated workflows and interfaces.
Create and update documentation for newly developed modules and application as required to receive Authorization to Operate.
Monitor OpenText Documentum and Records Management applications.
Perform Documentum administration, monitoring and verification tasks.
Troubleshoot Documentum and Records Management issues.
Test existing and new Documentum and Records Management functionality.
Work within a team of Documentum and Records management specialists.
Analyze and resolve user issues and escalate when necessary.
Provide oral and written report to technical and project management.
Extensive knowledge of latest versions of OpenText Documentum and Records Management products such as Documentum Content Server, Webtop, Records Manager, REST, DFS, and DFC.
Knowledge of OpenText Documentum architecture.
5+ years of experience on Records Manager and its configurations
5+ years of coding experience for Documentum lifecycles, workflows, retention policy and user interfaces.
3+ years of experience in Documentum administration and maintenance.
Experience in administration of servers and applications.
Experience with server access tools such as Putty, Remote Desktop, Citrix and others.
Experience in troubleshooting user issues and communicating with customers, teammates and management.
Experience with user support tools such as ServcieNow, HPSM, or others.
Experience and proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, and Skype applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and customer support tools.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or Computer Engineering.
Ability to analyze issues and clearly communicate with customers, teammates, and management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
