Compensation for this position

About the position
Xen.AI is looking for a seasoned Engineering Leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience to spearhead the development of our Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) product, a horizontal product serving Banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, and Industrial verticals. Our IDP solution automates data extraction from business documents, dramatically reducing processing time and minimizing manual intervention. As the Engineering Team lead, you will drive the product’s end-to-end development lifecycle and ensure its successful integration and deployment across customer platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to shape the product roadmap, enhance functionality, and deliver a world-class user experience.
Selected candidate would be able to work remotely from any location. This can be a full time or part-time role. For the 1st year compensation would be 100% revenue based on the client projects that you help to deliver.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete product development cycle, from concept to deployment, for Xen.AI's IDP product.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to define and prioritize the product backlog for ongoing development.
- Lead product demos for both internal stakeholders and external audiences, effectively communicating the product's value and features.
- Oversee pilot customer engagement and development efforts, ensuring seamless UI, backend integration, and third-party system connections.
- Build and lead a high-performing engineering team to support the continuous evolution of the product.
- Guide the deployment of the SaaS product across internal and external customer environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 10+ years of experience developing SaaS products, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, driving product development and team management.
- Proven experience in architecting and delivering secure, scalable SaaS applications.
- 5-7 years of experience working with the Azure cloud platform.
Technical Expertise
- Proficiency in Azure development tools and services, including:
- IDE: Visual Studio Code (VS Code) or similar
- Deployment: Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
- Azure Services: App Service, Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB
- Azure Cognitive Services, including Azure Search and Azure Document Intelligence
- Power BI
- Familiarity with Angular framework for UI development.
- Strong expertise in programming languages including Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Angular.
- Experience with version control systems, especially GitHub.
- Hands-on leadership skills with the ability to step in and fill any development gaps when necessary.
Additional Skills
- Ability to interface with Sales and Marketing teams to build marketing pitches, perform customer demos, and roll in new requirements based on market demand.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud is a plus.
- Highly self motivated.
- Well organized, focused, aggressive, result oriented, can-do attitude.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Must have Work Authorization in the US, we will not be able to support any VISA sponsorship. No H1B or OPT.
