GENERAL SUMMARY :
With leadership of the AVP, the Marketing Manager is responsible for helping to develop and implementing strategic marketing plans to help the hospital, Health & Wellness Center and affiliated physician practices meet volume and revenue goals. Leads the execution of marketing plans while meeting budget parameters and providing return on investment metrics for programs. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day consumer volume-driving activities as well as the advertising strategies and tactics to grow the brand, patient loyalty and service line volumes at the hospital. The position develops consumer volume-driving tactics and brand messaging to build consumer loyalty through various communication vehicles such as print, direct mail, outdoor, radio, sports marketing, digital media platforms, collateral and special events. Coordinates advertising strategies and tactics to competitively differentiate, build market preference and grow market share through the hospital’s branded services. Oversees messaging, design, creative execution and production of all marketing communication materials and facilitates necessary approvals on all materials. This position works closely with graphic designers, photographers, videographers, digital media, media relations, community relations, service line teams, physicians, physician liaisons, nurses, administration and internal communications while reporting to the AVP of Marketing and Consumer Engagement . Position also has a strong tie to the business development representatives and director to ensure volume and program goals are met and any issues affecting marketability are properly escalated and resolved.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED :
Excellent verbal and written communications, strong presentation and rganizational skills, and solid computer skills are required.
Must have experience with branding, advertising, communications and digital platforms; self-starter with integrated marketing skill set.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment, excel under tight deadlines and have strong experience with Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator strongly preferred.
Strong project management experience with results-oriented focus.
Strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated team player, consensus builder and persuasive presenter who can work well with others using tact and diplomacy; consistently delivers high level of customer service to internal customers.
Ability to collaborate well with others is critical. Must be able to work in a matrix organizational structure.
Must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times; must be hard working and ethical.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Five or more years of experience and proven track record in strategic and integrated marketing communications that includes strategic marketing and planning, advertising and promotional plans, agency relationships and working with a creative development process.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Healthcare Administration or related field.
Previous healthcare marketing experience is preferred.
