This position is for Mobile Developer- Android responsible for designing and developing software applications for mobile phones, tablets, and other mobile devices. The developer must know complete App development life cycle from initiation to deployment to App Store. Must have experience with AngularJS or Angular 4 or ReactJS and Web APIs. The developer works with senior development staff and database administrator in support of business applications.
Work with Business Analysts and Product Owners to gather Business Requirements.
Map Business Specifications to detailed Technical Specifications.
Expertise in object-oriented analysis and design.
Strong understanding of Android software design patterns (e.g., MVC)
Experience working with Auto Layout and size classes
Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
Experience integrating third-party frameworks
Ability to effectively communicate technical topics to product owners, stakeholders and other business team members
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). Experience using Test Automation tools like Coded UI or Selenium and Jasmine/Karma.
Responsible for preparing test data for unit, system, integration testing and performance benchmarking and optimization.
Experience with code packaging using TFS and automated release tools like TFS Build and Release Management, Jenkins or Gulp is preferred.
Identify and resolve technical issues and effectively communicate status and support issues.
Familiarity with Ionic and React Mobile will be preferred.
Bachelor of Science in the discipline of Information Technology.
3-5 years of experience as an Android developer.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
Experience with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) methodologies.
Familiarity with CI, CD and test automation.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 15 lbs.
