The Senior Instructional Designer will be a key member of a growing Sales Enablement team at ForeScout Technologies. This role will be responsible for creating and maintaining a world-class training program inclusive of training paths and certifications across the various sales roles. This person will develop the curriculum framework for those paths, and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop the content and deliver training. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to design and create the learning journey and curriculum for sales, from new hire on-boarding to continuous learning and development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of improving and accelerating knowledge, comprehension, application and productivity for the sales team.

Responsibilities:
Create a framework for developing and delivering sales training on products, processes, and tools
Redesign the sales new hire on-boarding program and content
Design and develop engaging on-demand and eLearning content and curriculum, inclusive of certification and reinforcement materials and activities
Develop, refine, and maintain the design of the sales enablement and readiness online platform
Conduct training needs and requirements analysis to develop a continuous learning journey and training road map that aligns with business strategy
Gather requirements from stakeholders to define the appropriate learning objectives and expectations
Collaborate with subject-matter-experts to create content that fits with the curriculum framework
Create and/or translate technical content into easy-to-consume training curriculum for a global audience at various levels with clarity
Create, record, edit, segment, convert and compress training into on-demand content
Introduce new and innovative teaching techniques and creative delivery mechanisms to reach diverse sales roles

Required Skills / Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business / information technology / instructional design / communication
7+ years of instructional design, curriculum development, training, or technical documentation experience within the IT industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and experience in training and development tools and technology (Camtasia, Captivate, Quicktime, Articulate Storyline)
Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

Proven Candidates will possess:
Prior experience and proven success in instructional design and development; a portfolio of e-learning and/or video work with instructional design examples
Visual and graphic design skills
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships across the organization
Strong planning and organizational skills with a proven ability to deliver quality projects on time
Strong verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills
Passion and curiosity for teaching and learning
