Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals with developmental disabilities, implementing behavior intervention plans and providing support to help them achieve their goals.
Duties
- Implement behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect data on client behavior during sessions
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and adjust care plans
- Educate and train clients on various skills based on their individualized goals
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation
- Utilize knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles in daily interactions
Requirements
- Experience or knowledge in behavioral health and working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records
- Ability to follow care plans effectively
- Strong communication skills to work with clients, families, and other team members
- Background in special education or related field is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
