This is a unique roll supporting both EO and Brand Strategy and Creative studio. This is a high volume position that requires an Individual who must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment and demonstrate the ability to develop highly conceptual work. This role will help set the standard for EO while managing reports. The ability to push a creative team and effectively communicate at the executive level is paramount.
The Creative Director is responsible for managing the design of Creative Media products and services as well as the visual assets contained therein. This position is a working supervisor and is expected to review, approve and contribute to the work produced by internal, vended, and partner creative resources. This position involves applying a background in visual design, art direction, interaction design, and design leadership to set the direction for innovative products and services that meet both user needs and business goals.
Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Illustration, Computer Science or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in design, visual communications, interactive design or related area, which includes at least 3 years of experience in technology-related design and leading graphics and/or multimedia teams.

Post-graduate study, Masters Degree, or equivalent experience is advantageous.
A strong business focus; experience with health Web sites or digital products; health-related background; and mobile design desirable.
Expert design and production skills for graphics, Web pages, videos and animations.
Expert understanding of the use and application of a wide variety of design software programs.
Expert understanding of relevant standards and guidelines, including accessibility and usability.
Excellent problem-solving ability coupled with ability to supply technically viable alternatives.
Ability to clearly articulate complex design problems and solutions using strong communication and presentation skills.
Excellent relationship management skills involving multidisciplinary teams.
Organized, productive self-starter, strong work ethic, detail-oriented, methodical and a "Can do" attitude.
Portfolio that represents a proven record of bringing products to market and effective visual designs.
Superb professionalism and mature presence in all aspects of team and client relationship-building.
Thoughtful approach to leadership with the ability to make insightful contributions to the strategic development and future direction of the Division of Creative Media.
Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
