If you answered yes to all these questions then we want you to join our team! We are looking for a dynamic Office Assistant to join our team. The Office Assistant will work as a member of the office support team. Assist program staff in various clerical and typing duties as assigned by the Administrative Manager.

Reports To: ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGER, FAMILY FOSTER CARE

Location: 7 West Burnside Avenue, Bronx, New York 10453

Hours: 35 Hours/Week, Non-Exempt

Major Duties:
Reception/switchboard coverage, with rotation of schedules of 9:00-5:00, 11:00-7:00, and Saturdays.
Assist the Administrative Manager.
Assist program staff in various clerical and typing duties.
Assist with the ordering of supplies.
Ordering of metro cards for the program and the reconciliation.
Responsible for entering the Progress Notes for the Saturday visits, updating the visitation list, preparing the family/child visitation forms.
Responsible for the up-keeping of the file room, the filing of the case records, and create the file binders.
Responsible to refill all printers, copiers, and fax machines.
Responsible for the
shredding closed records.
Responsible for the mail and the distribution of the interoffice mail.
Responsible for keeping vehicles paperwork.
Assemble binders with tab opening sections for opening of case records.
Distribute faxes to staff.
Reserved conference rooms, setup, and supplies needed.
Check requests – prepare, log, distribution and reconciliation of petty cash. Petty cash for the program and CSNYC.
Responsible for ordering the gifts and metro cards for PTC and KEEP (CSNYC).
Responsible for scanning and and file.
Responsible of the monthly fire drill.
Other duties assigned.

Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal and organizational skills.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
