The Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation (PVSI) team includes Operations, Cards and Retail Services, Deposit Products Group, the Innovation Group, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, Payment Solutions, and Wells Fargo Virtual Channels and the professional services teams that partner with these businesses. PVSI's focus is on delivering the next generation of payments and deposit capabilities and advancing our digital and online offerings to design new customer experiences and products. Its guiding principles are to start with the customer, move faster, and partner effectively.

The Cards & Retail Services team helps customers achieve their financial dreams by providing a variety of products across the credit spectrum. We deliver industry-leading rewards, offers and benefits that recognize and celebrate our customers' relationship with Wells Fargo. Our customers all have unique goals and dreams - whether preparing for a home improvement project, shopping for a new sofa or kitchen table or meeting healthcare and dental needs. Others just want a financial tool that allows them to make everyday purchases while earning rewards. Our team works together with groups across the company, including the bankers in our 6,200 banking stores, to provide financing in the form of general-purpose cards, co-branded cards and private-label and industry cards. Our team is 6,700 strong, working in communities across the nation, and focused on doing our very best to help our customers succeed financially.

The Position

Wells Fargo is a leading credit card issuing bank and has identified co-branded card partnerships as a key component to the overall growth plan for the business. Wells Fargo been selected to launch and issue a new co-brand credit card program is looking for an experienced operational and delivery manager to help launch and manage the overall day to day delivery of the of the credit card program. He or she will be responsible for working with internal partners and external partners to develop, manage and maintain the operational and delivery platform and capability set to enable the desired customer and product experience.

Other Responsibilities include:
Interact on a day to day basis with members of the external organization team and a core set of key internal partners including technology, servicing, fraud and compliance to support the ongoing delivery of the program.
Build and manage the relationship with external partnering firm to support the planning and execution of projects to improve the overall operations for the program.
Serve as a critical partner for and work closely with the Co-Brand Program Managers to develop a roadmap for capabilities and program enhancements and ensure alignment on priorities, project deliverables and deadlines.
Work closely with Cobrand Quality Assurance to identify,recommend and implement appropriate controls. Drive execution of efforts to minimize and remediate program errors and customer disruptions.
Interact daily with external partnering firm and internal Wells Fargo cross functional teams to drive key projects forward that will drive growth and create a superior customer experience.
Work with various internal Wells Fargo teams and centers of excellence that support the Co-Brand program servicing to identify, monitor and remediate issues.
Champion Continuous Improvement agenda in order to analyze, re-design and implement business processes to achieve desired efficiency and effectiveness goals
Report into the Head of Co-brand Operations and be a member of the overall cobrand team responsible for growing the portfolio and creating a best in class co-brand business.
**Preference for role to be located in Des Moines, IA; however, other Wells Fargo hub locations may be considered.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
3+ years of leadership experience

Other Desired Qualifications
7 + years experience in the credit card industry including the implementation and launch of co-brand programs
Strong working knowledge of key card issuers systems, products and platforms (FDR, Zoot, ACAPS)
Deep understanding of card and digital capabilities including mobile wallets, tokenization and real time boarding
Understanding of execution and quality control assessment techniques, reporting and program development
Strong ability to develop internal relationships across functional areas
Proven ability to work with internal and external partners to develop and build capabilities understanding of the credit card industry and specifically co-brand marketplace
Track record for process management and implementing complex projects across a multiple set of stakeholders
Proven experience working in collaborative and cross functional organization and building effective internal and external relationship management experience
Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
Experience building and maintaining 3rd party relationships
Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
Knowledge and understanding of product or program management: development of roadmaps, strategies, and management of products ranging from concepts in ideation through to market delivery
B.S./B.A. with MBA preferred

Job Expectations

Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
