Position Summary:
Performs Mammography examinations, with protocols as outlined by the Radiologist. Operates diagnostic equipment, Develops films, and prepares room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
Other duties Include, but are not limited to , clerical, scheduling, transportation, ordering supplies, inventory, cleaning, and anything Deemed necessary by the Medical Imaging Management Team.


Position Requirements:
A Licensure/Certification/Registration:
ARRT and SCRQSA Required

B. Education:
Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology, Mammography Registry preferred

C. Experience:
1 year experience preferred

III. Degree of Supervision Required: I

Involves general guidance and direction by Supervisors and/or Department Manager. The employee will be expected to perform most job duties independently and in accordance with established departmental and hospital policies and procedures.

IV. Physical Requirements:
Involves lifting more than 50 pounds, reaching, walking, standing, twisting, turning, kneeling and bending are required. Employee must be able to walk through the dark room door in order to process x-ray film.
