Human Resources Manager

National Hospitality Company in Asbury Park, NJ is looking for a Full Time Human Resources Manager


  • Ensure compliance with Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour regulations
  • Produce timely government required reports
  • Process all FMLA employee notifications
  • Manage all government required compliance notifications
  • Seek vendor proposals for various Employee Benefits options
  • Coordinate Health Insurance Yearly Open Enrollment
  • Track all new employees eligible for benefits
  • Work with Payroll team to separate employee benefits program including managing COBRA participants
  • Administer all processes for employee disability, workman's comp claims, long term disability
  • Fact-finding employee issues/concerns/terminations
  • Assist legal team with gathering of pertinent documents for pending legal and EEOC cases
  • Facilitate wage & hour and workers compensation payroll audits
  • Maintain accurate employee records
  • Provide weekly & monthly payroll metrics to Executive Officers
  • Ensure all locations managers are communicated with any changes in law to maintain compliance


  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or SHRM certified
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the Human Resources field
  • Must be very detailed
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Well versed with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Effective Communicator
  • Previous experience working in hospitality industry a plus
  • Compiling factual data for Unemployment claims
  • Must have excellent follow up and follow through.
  • Must be flexible and able to handle multiple task
