Our NOC Engineers:
-
Perform network/systems support in a Managed Services environment.
-
Troubleshoot, isolate, and diagnose common network/systems problems.
-
Work in a 24x7x365 team environment.
-
Ability to provide support that includes proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and customer service.
-
Maintain current, high-level technical skills in your network field of expertise. Keep abreast of developments in technology and solutions.

Own and manage escalated support cases.
-
Effectively communicate with both customers and internal team members.
-
Thoroughly document steps taken to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.
-
Document, update and manage tickets.
-
Work in an on-call rotation.
-
Manage projects, as assigned.
-
Provide Tier II support across organizations.
-
Work cross functionally with other internal teams.
-
Coach less experienced staff.
You should have knowledge of: (not all required)

Routing and Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRFs, etc.)

Switching (VLANs, Trunking, Spanning Tree, etc.)

You must have:

Mastered routing/switching.
