About ACD
ACD USA, Inc., a German-based manufacturer for innovative products for the portable electronic devices for logistics and trade market, is currently seeking a Senior Sales-Account-Manager who will be responsible for the overall uncovering, closing and managing profitable sales of the company s portable devices for logistics and trade segment. This role commands a large amount of responsibility, and you are expected to participate actively in all aspects of building the business, including strategic planning, new account acquisition and negotiation, and client/partner relationship building.

Independently and strategically generates leads and closes deals in order to meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in the North American region.
Achieve growth and meeting sales revenue targets
Further develops and maintains existing customer-business relationships by providing information, guidance, and support; recommending service and profit improvements; and recommending new opportunities.
Support product management and development by documenting customer requirements and defining product specifications.
Prepare and handle quotes and coordinate contract negotiations for a successful close.
Represent ACD USA, Inc. at trade shows.
Coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis.
Develop and deliver proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations
Responsible for logging all activity and keeping CRM system up-to-date.
Exercises independent judgment and discretion while performing the job.
Ability to travel frequently including travel to company headquarters in Germany

How you will succeed:
Have a passion for technology/electronic devices with the ability to educate customers and prospects on product capabilities
Develop an effective strategy for uncovering and progressing opportunities quickly
Able to build relationships across new and existing key accounts.
Formulate a sales plan to achieve sales and profit targets for prospective accounts.
Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing information.
Successful experience running complex business development/project processes.
Demonstrates success in building and growing new accounts and territories
Identify, develop and negotiate terms and conditions for accounts to effectively manage overall profitability.
Identify opportunities and challenges within the account base and create strategies to maximize sell through, revenue, profit, and market share.
Communicate value propositions and demonstrate an ability to present and close new business.
Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
Ability to work under pressure
Use our CRM to keep a record of sales calls, including potential opportunity worth dollars, and be prepared to present that information when requested.
Being efficient with your day and understanding where your time is best spent.
Analyze and understand industry market trends, competition, products, and pricing that may impact sales efforts and communicate this information to all sales management and other departments as necessary.
Understand and follow company rules and regulations.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
Metrics- oriented
Proficient in Microsoft Office
High level of time management and organization skills

Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of B2B portable device (handheld electronics) sales.
BA/BS degree or Technical training/education
Proven ability to work autonomously and excellent time management
Strong communication skills including the experience building solid working relationships
Experience in consultative and solution based selling

Salary and Benefits:
Base Salary plus commission. Salary will be determined commensurate with skills, education, and relevant experience.
Additional compensation includes paid vacation, paid holidays, health insurance contribution, 401k plan, and opportunities for growth.
