As a Summer Intern at Lakeland Bank you will learn the roles and responsibilities within the department you are placed in. Our summer internships are paid positions, so you will be earning while you are learning.

As a Summer Internship in Internal Audit we will provide you with training and insight on how the bank operates as you work side-by-side with top leaders.

Essential functions:
Participation in audit assignments to ensure that risks are identified, recognized, and appropriately managed in alignment with the departmental audit plan and initiatives.
Perform SOX internal control walkthroughs and testing as directed.
Contributes and/or prepares reports of audit status and findings for managers. Proposes recommendations for changes as needed.
Tracking testing progress and evaluating results.
Requirements

Skills required:
College students in their junior year and on your way to earning a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Studying Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Information Security. (preferred)
A cumulative 3.0 GPA minimum (preferred)
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel)
Ability to work independently. Possess drive and motivation
Excellent communication skills, ability to engage with all levels within the organization
Must be bondable

Employment Eligibility
