The Workforce Data Analyst is responsible for executing on projects and initiatives that support and accelerate the growth of the Employer Services division of Equifax Workforce Solutions. This role sits on the Employer & Talent Analytics team, part of the Workforce Solutions Data & Analytics organization, which is driving the development and delivery of differentiated high-value analytical products and solutions for our Employer Services customers. This resource is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of presentations, analyses, and dashboards to inform a wide variety of stakeholders.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional who is resourceful, confident under pressure, an excellent communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Our ideal candidate has the poise and calm to keep multiple projects on track, loves working with data and is able to coherently speak data' to others, and has an aptitude for graphic design and storytelling.

Key Deliverables:
Perform exploratory data analysis to derive actionable insights that drive strategic initiatives and new solution concepts
Creatively translate ambiguous questions and problem statements into testable hypotheses for which relevant and actionable insights can be surfaced
Create presentation materials, including data visuals, to clearly communicate complex analytical concepts
Deploy expertise in data storytelling to facilitate understanding when communicating complex results to varied audiences
Define and capture business and functional requirements for key projects or assignments
Facilitate team meetings involving business and technical resources
Coordinate, execute, and monitor processes to ensure project objectives are met
Develop, track and distribute performance metrics and reports
Provide support through light programming, scripting, and querying

Who You Are (Requirements):
Education: BS/MS degree (preferably in business analytics or related discipline)
3+ years of experience transforming raw data sets into compelling and meaningful visual illustrations
2+ years of project lead experience
Proficient in SQL
Experience with Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence tools
Proficient in Tableau or comparable data visualization tool
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong influencing skills to engage cross-functionally and advance projects
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to distill and articulate complicated information to varied audiences
Understanding of statistical methods and predictive analytics preferred
