The University Recruiter is responsible for strengthening and maintaining relationships with targeted universities – developing creative ways to increase the company’s brand and identifying top-tier students to join the BOK Financial team. This position works closely with internal business partners across the entire BOK Financial footprint, educating them on the college recruitment process and collaborating with them to understand their talent needs, and develop a recruiting strategy to source and attract exceptional candidates for their line of business.
We are looking for somebody who:
Thrives at being an advocate for their company. You will represent BOK Financial at many events – including board meetings, community events, campus presentations, conferences, career fairs, etc. You will often be the first interaction people have with our company, so you need to have a great understanding of all aspects of the business and contribute to enhancing our external brand as it relates to attracting talent.
Can successfully run full cycle recruitment process for the entire footprint including the development and execution of searches for top tier college graduates to be placed in the Accelerated Career Track Programs and in other entry level professional opportunities across the organization. This includes designing and executing the recruiting strategy to include career fairs, campus interviews, class and student organization presentations, etc.
Skilled in sourcing, screening, evaluating and presenting candidates to move forward in the interview process. Experienced in candidate selection techniques and able to quickly determine culture and technical fit of all candidates.
Educates hiring managers on trends in the labor market. Uses competitive analysis to understand hiring needs and recruiting practices of competitors.
Works as an advisor to senior level managers and supervisors within assigned divisions at BOK Financial. Influences and collaborates with these managers to develop recruitment strategies and define requirements and expectations for the process.
Acts as a Brand Ambassador for the entire BOK Financial footprint. Works to actively promote our brands in a positive and innovative way, increasing the quality of our talent pipeline. Will continue to enhance our branding strategy for our college recruiting efforts – resulting in a more cohesive and identifiable brand throughout all methods of marketing.
Able to create and execute a virtual/digital recruiting strategy – prepared to make changes and take calculated risks to stay up to date regarding the evolving recruiting techniques.
Creates an inclusive sourcing strategy, bringing diverse viewpoints, work experiences, life styles and cultures to the candidate pool.
Manages the new hire experience – including weekly communication pieces to all ACT Program hires prior to their start date, working closely with ACT Program Managers during all stages of onboarding, actively participate in orientation and other events during their time in the program.
Develop new relationships and cultivate existing relationships with university career services representatives, professors/faculty, and student organizations.
Other knowledge, skills and abilities needed:
Excellent communication skills with the ability to prepare and deliver persuasive oral and written reports and presentations and the training skills to teach others to do the same
Ability to manage multiple priorities and resources to achieve outstanding results
Develops annual budget and adheres to planned dollars
Excellent PC skills including knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
Ability to organize multiple activities which require close attention to detail
Ability to interpret company policies, procedures and practices
Ability to work independently to achieve goals
Thorough knowledge of relevant governmental/regulatory requirements (EEO, ADA, etc.)
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of college recruiting experience.
