Patient care coordinator/administrative specialist

We are growing and are in search of a part time patient care coordinator/administrative specialist to join our dream team in a long term role in a stable and positive environment under the supervision of a Board Certified Dermatologist. Voted Best of Durham!

Passion for skin care , patient care and service is a high priority and should be near and dear to your heart. Expertise in skin care and product knowledge is an integral part of the position.

Position has potential to develop into full time position and earn commissions based on production team sales.

Clinical Experience in Dermatology, Plastic surgery preferable

Customer Service

  • Provide extraordinary service
  • Facilitate and mediate patient sensitive and/or confrontations matters if encountered

Marketing

  • Track patient inquiries with detailed notes and follow up , assist with consultation and scheduling to meet goals
  • Identify, develop and drive continuous patient experience improvement initiatives
  • Create communication techniques and engage clients through phone, email, and Social Media follow-up
  • Update websites and social media content as needed
  • Ability to sell and up-sell procedures and products to meet daily, weekly , monthly goals

Excellent knowledge and ability to sell all aesthetic services and products available in the practice ‪
Administrative

  • Greet patients through email, social media and telephone leads and provide thorough information regarding our practice offerings and credentialing of the doctor
  • Actively welcome and check-out patients with a smile
  • Accurately handle patient transactions including
  • Basic math skills
  • Create and maintain all paperwork and electronic records
  • Prepare daily schedule and associated paperwork
  • Photograph clients for pre-consult, pre and post treatment follow up
  • Support administrative and clinical team members as needed
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines with all patient data
  • Maintain reception area, front office, non-clinical area inventory and accounts payable
  • Develop initiative, motivation, and positive morale with staff

  • Education Preferred
  • College degree in Hospitality, Marketing, Communications
  • Previous experience in a hospitality, sales, marketing, customer experience, or public relations role within an aesthetic/plastic surgery/medical spa/luxury level resort
  • Experience with Athena , Aesthetics pro

Position Responsibilities:

Relationship development and maintenance
Assist Dermatologist with medical aesthetic procedures ‪and other duties as needed
Assist with marketing activities, events , promotions
Answering phones, scheduling appointments and patient follow up
Documenting in Electronic medical records
Inventory managemen

Maintenance of equipment, procedure room turn over

Reliable transportation

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $12-$15.00 /hour with opportunity for bonus based on sales.
