About the Role
The Senior Manager, Global Retention & CRM will be responsible for defining the company’s strategy and roadmap, across all divisions and businesses, as it relates to acquiring, owning/managing and marketing our consumer data. In addition, He/She will lead the global rollout of our new CRM & email marketing platform while identifying opportunities for improving the customer experience and increasing revenue through journeys/triggers and automations. He/she will also need to stay abreast of changes in the ecommerce and online marketing environment, in order to make appropriate recommendations on new functionality that will best serve the objectives of the organization.
This role reports directly into the Global Vice President of eCommerce and will have 1-2 direct/indirect reports.
What You Will Do
Owns CRM strategy & roadmap for customer acquisition and retention globally, by defining the business potential of acquiring consumer data, with the filter of measuring the lifetime value of a customer, and applying this model to grow global and regional databases.
Drives database growth across Harman (events/activations, packing, QSG, inserts, App registrations, etc.) while defining different profiles, segments and targets.
Defines and executes strategies for personalized, customer journeys pre/post engagement
Owns and operates CRM Dashboard & Analytics (sets A/B test strategy based on terns, and best practice).
Owns, executes and trains regions on site and email Personalization .
Manages CRM team including budgeting, forecasting, implementation, and the delivery of target sales and profit .
What You Need
Experience with developing & owning a CRM/Consumer Database Strategy & Management.
6+years’ experience in acquiring, analyzing and understanding consumer data.
Profound understanding of how to initiate and build long-term customer relationships based on the mutual exchange of value – we are in this for the long-haul, not for mass-marketing tactics that just drive short-term sales rather than relationships.
Proven success in driving customer acquisition and annual/lifetime value through a CRM strategy that they have implemented.
Experience in building customer databases, segmentation and strong analytical skills is a must.
Hands-on and self-motivated with a flexible attitude.
What is Nice to Have?
Previous experience working in the consumer electronics industry.
Working knowledge of Salesforce Cloud suites, specifically Marketing Cloud is a PLUS.
