Full Job Description
Summary: Under general supervision, provides professional nursing care in accordance with nurse protocols, policies and/or procedures. Works directly with the Nursing Director to expedite COVID-19 screening and testing in vulnerable/underserved populations. Provides a wide array of COVID-19 activities including providing technical assistance and consultative services regarding epidemiology and the control of diseases, including lab testing of suspect notifiable disease cases as necessary. Provide health education instruction to individuals, families, for the promotion and maintenance of health. Administer COVID-19 testing/screening, provide results and phone center nursing services as needed.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university AND current Georgia license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse AND CPR certification OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND One year of PHN experience AND completion of a PHN course within one year of hire AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license AND CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, Public Health or Community Health experience/knowledge.
Salary Information: $26 hourly / up to 29 hours per week.
