Position Overview:
As a Database and Events Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining our donor database, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting the coordination of fundraising events. This role requires a highly organized individual with meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing our database systems and contributing to the success of our fundraising events.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operation of the Raisers Edge database including:
- Processes donor gifts in Raisers Edge and produces revenue and events reports
- Maintain and update constituent and event information in Raisers Edge
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness in Raiser Edge
- Generate donor acknowledgment letters and pledge reminders
- Create and maintain donation pages
- Process weekly revenue reports maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide ongoing bookkeeping support
- Process daily receipts and make bank deposit
- Assist in compiling records and back-up for the annual audit
- Analyze for system and process improvements
- Stay up to date on trends in database administration, Raiser’s Edge product updates, and industry standards
- Assist in daily office operations including office organization and meeting set-up
- Support the planning and execution of all events including logistics, budget tracking, and communications
- Administer vendor invoices and payments
- Assist in coordinating and administering event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and technical requirements
- Attend WIZO events as needed in the tri-state area providing hands-on support to ensure smooth operations including setting up tables and chairs, purchasing refreshments, etc.
- Manage event registration processes, including creating event registration pages, as well as tracking RSVPs and attendee information
- Create event materials utilizing brand templates and administer event communication
- Other tasks as directed by the Associate Director and NY Executive Director
- Report to the Associate Director
- This is a full-time, in-person position. Some nights and weekends will be required with advance notice

You have:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of work experience, 2 years of bookkeeping or data entry experience preferred
- Capacity to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines consistently
- Experience working with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge (or equivalent CRM or non-profit database)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Excel, and Word
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills
- Experience with accounts payable preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to be self-directed and work independently in a fast-paced work environment
- A collaborative, flexible, team-oriented, and positive work ethic
- Previous experience in event coordination or support is desirable.
- Willingness to be hands-on in the office and at events, setting up chairs and tables, bringing supplies, purchasing refreshments, etc.
