- Management Experience
Under the direction of VP, Ethics, Compliance and Employment Law, this part-time position (28 hours/week) will be responsible for day- to-day implementation of a client-aligned, enterprise-wide compliance program involving 3000 people in six countries.
Administering third-party vendor vetting program and annual ethics training for 3000 employees
Designing and delivering additional trainings on various topics (including fraud awareness, social media use, bystander intervention)
Assisting and directing internal investigations, establishing and managing various compliance processes and policies (including conflicts of interest disclosures, anonymous website reports and due diligence data)
Arranging periodic risk assessments, including summarizing results and recommendations
Regularly communicating with E&C liaisons and business heads to set program priorities and providing advice and counsel on current regulatory and compliance issues including sanctions/export controls, and anti-bribery and corruption policies
Promotes an ethical culture and works to ensure that the organization is compliant with applicable laws and regulations
Provides guidance to the efforts of compliance team members in reviewing and appraising the soundness, adequacy and effectiveness of program
Responsible for supervision and development of the Ethics & Compliance Manager and part-time Ethics and Compliance associate
Ability to collect and analyze data, including math skills and attention to detail.
3+ years Legal or compliance or experience
Has held a significant leadership role requiring building strong relationships with stakeholders
People management experience
Experience creating policy and process in response to laws, regulations and industry guidance
Experience in aligning potential, present and future compliance risks related to the business, including risk
identification, controls & risk mitigation of potential non-compliance.
