These positions will NOT lead to full-time positions.

These positions do not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed basis".
Intermittent employees are NOT eligible for benefits. (Health and Life Insurance) (Annual and Sick Leave).

As a Clerk, GS-0303-02, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision:

Employee performs a variety of clerical duties at the Eisenhower Library under the close supervision of the Supervisory Clerical Assistant.
Sales Desk: Receives payment for sale of items and makes the proper change. At the end of each day, totals the amount of receipts and reports this to the supervisor. Maintains count of visitors which is reported to supervisor. Assists in maintaining adequate inventory, of sale items by informing supervisor when it is necessary to reorder any item. Assists in replenishing stock of items for sale as directed.
Admissions Desk: Sells tickets and makes proper chance. At the end of each day, totals the amount of receipts and reports this to the supervisor. Maintains count Of visitors which is reported to supervisor.
Family Home: Conducts visitors through the Family Home. Gives short lectures in each area of the building informing visitors about the contents of that area and giving them any information that would make their visit more meaningful. Answers questions about the Home and is vigilant to avoid any possibility of damage to home and contents.
Training: Assists in the training of new staff members, including student aids and summer employees.
Other: Performs tasks for any branch or sub-division of the Library which might include routine filing, repetitive labeling and typing, operating an electrostatic copier, answering the telephone and placing calls, assisting with special events, and low level description duties in the archives area.
May serve as alternate imprest fund cashier. May assist in the preparation of deposits.
