Looking for an Event Coordinator and Manager who will be assisting the team in various aspects of projects.

We are currently looking for an innovative & team oriented event coordinator who is positive, outgoing, highly energetic, organized, personable, and who has exceptional customer service skills.

Qualifications:

  • Up to 5 years of experience in retail, sales, hospitality or a customer focused support role is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Be able to review/edit contracts and official documents)
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Must possess excellent PC / Mac skills (including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work extended hours and travel when required
  • Preference: Bi-Lingual (Korean, English, and Chinese), Communication Skills, Computer Skill, Video Editing

Job duties:

  • Manage the administration and logistics of numerous corporate events including meeting space and accommodations
  • Anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with minor supervision
  • Create & manage all pre-planning logistics, on-site program operations and travelling on-site for the event
  • Assist with negotiations for contracts with suppliers with regards to venue, catering, décor, entertainment, audio visual, equipment, signage or other as needed within guidelines
  • Maintain accuracy and accountability of event budget, manage final billing and reconciliation
  • Must have the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted, creative environment and must be able to work well under pressure

Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects
  • Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling and vendor negotiation
  • Career: Work experience preferred (up to 5 years / mainstream field experience)
  • Knowledge of design, lighting, sound, video, photography and social media
  • Familiarity of venue building codes and standards and public space event permitting
  • Be able to review/edit contracts and official documents
  • Ability to travel for client meetings, site visits and event executions
  • Ability to work long hours, weekends and holidays
  • Education: Candidate must have minimum of Bachelor's Degree
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Job duties:

  • Researching for trends and events theme
  • Develop and manage all structure, timelines, complex budgets and overall projects organization in collaboration with the Director of Production or others as assigned
  • Produce events from concept to completion – involving strategy, management and oversight of all details for each event
  • Attend project meetings and creative work sessions/brainstorms; facilitate as needed
  • Work with business affairs department to complete all contracts, agreements and all clearances
  • Oversee all project logistical needs (e.g. travel and housing arrangements, contact lists, etc.)
  • Provides constant, efficient communication between all parties, ensuring information regarding all projects are accurate.
  • Must be able to travel if needed (in US)
  • Assist in additional department duties and other projects as assigned

Salary: $15.00 to $18.00 /hour
