Customer Service position overview:

  • Triaging and transferring inbound calls
  • Assist patients to facilitate scheduling of sleep services in a call center setting
  • Sell patients on the value of diagnosing and treating potential sleep disorders; explain the medical procedure and answer technical and logistical questions
  • Communicate patient and insurance billing process to ensure that patient understands his/her financial responsibility
  • Communicate with staff to ensure that patients are contacted and provided timely and relevant information about their referral and insurance coverage
  • Responsible for a high volume of patient tasks and regularly documented follow up to ensure highest scheduling and completion rates to meet monthly goals
  • Communicate patient status to referring physicians, office staff, and sales reps


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (experience speaking with patients, payers and physician offices)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Detail-oriented, strong attention to detail, organized
  • Strong customer service experience
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of medical terminology, medical insurances and physician office processes/protocol
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable team member, responsible employee, focused and attentive to the task at hand
  • Computer skills: Excel, Outlook, ability to learn new software/database
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated and life-long learner

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $15.00 /hour
