The Oracle Apps Developer provides in-house technical expertise in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or significant enhancements to the Oracle echo system. This individual will be responsible for the ongoing operations and maintenance of the Oracle Enterprise Business Applications (EBS), Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud(EPBCS) and Oracle Fusion Middleware applications. This position is suited for a well‐rounded technical resource who is able to focus on driving business transformations, can effectively apply agile development methodologies and tools, manage complicated projects, and understand the needs of our end users.

Manages daily support & maintenance of Internal Oracle EBS, Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud, and Oracle Fusion Middleware instances
Conduct long-term improvement operations based on business needs
Ensures solutions provided are in compliance with policies and controls in place; works closely with the business units during audit periods
Interfaces with Oracle Support and external software vendors for product issue troubleshooting and resolution
Automates implementation change control from development sandboxes to production and across the development lifecycle
Ensures all necessary changes are documented, reviewed, tested, and approved before deployment
Supports and drives Oracle projects including; contribution to gathering business requirements, solution and technical design, test plan design, and end user test coordination, and deployment of new functionality
Partners with Business Applications Manager on all projects to ensure alignment of project timelines, other initiatives, etc.
Remains current on Oracle EBS and Fusion Middleware releases, features, best practices, applications, technologies and certifications
Manages and tracks work in Jira
Available to work outside core business hours when required
5+ years’ experience in any or several of the following areas:
Enterprise application development and support with Oracle EBS, Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud (EPBCS), and Oracle Fusion Middleware
Experience supporting finance and operation end of month processing with strong understanding of the OM, INV, GL, AP, FA, CM, and AR Modules
Proficiency with tools used to support Oracle Applications development including, but not limited to, PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, Forms, Reports, Workflow, BI Publisher
Expert-level knowledge and experience with Web Services Design (strong knowledge: SOAP/REST, WSLDs, XSD, JSON, Java programming)
Building integrations within enterprise systems (MID Server, Oracle Fusion Middleware, .Net applications, web services, API’s, Open Interfaces, SQL stored Procedures)
Carrying out development and application improvements utilizing, Toad, JDeveloper, Eclipse, SQL Developer and Oracle Integration Cloud
Reporting tools (BI Publisher, Oracle FSG, Business Objects, Cognos, Oracle Report writer)
Good Understanding of ETL concepts and tools (PL/SQL, Oracle warehouse builder, SQL server integration services (SSIS), SOQL, and JQL)
Experience in customizing OA Framework applications/ADF
Experience with databases and SQL
CI/CD, Test-driven development (TDD) and continuous improvement
Must be highly organized, entrepreneurial in spirit, and possess the ability to self-manage and adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected shifts in priorities while maintaining focus and productivity in a fast-paced environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Works well in teams and collaborative environments while maintaining a customer centric and personable demeanor
Experience working in an Agile and Lean environment
Additional knowledge or depth of experience in the following areas a plus:
Familiarity with AWS or other Cloud providers
Familiarity with Enterprise Applications (Jira, Sales Force & ServiceNow)
Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, JMeter)
Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, or similar area of study
