The Digital Business Development team within Spectrum Reach (SR) is seeking a Planner, Enterprise Digital Accounts. This role will help the support the team’s efforts to ideate, incubate, execute, and accelerate/ scale business opportunities across four pillars - 1.) Advanced TV Development, 2.) Agency Development, 3.) Category Development, and 4.) Platform Development.
Role responsibilities include the below, and may require other duties that are not included based on business prioritization:
Advanced TV Development
Support execution of addressable TV RFPs in partnership with Sales and Product teams
Client/ agency engagement on addressable TV inclusive though not limited to providing overview on capabilities (and keeping them current), education internally of client requests/ marketplace needs, and campaign management duties to insure positive client experience
Engage with data partners to facilitate both tactical (e.g. client requests) and strategic (e.g. reporting advancements) priorities
Partner with x-functional teams to support enhancements to advanced advertising capabilities (e.g. product team), client reporting (e.g. product and research teams), client partnerships/ development (e.g. preferred team, sales), financial reporting (e.g. finance team), and campaign execution (e.g. ad operations team)
Support efforts that allow Spectrum Reach to leverage our full portfolio of advanced capabilities, inventory, data, and white glove service to increase (or maintain) share or deepen partnerships with select Madison Ave partners (e.g. holding companies), and Clients.
Research, gather, and organize intelligence (e.g. marketing needs, business priorities, stakeholders, platforms, clients) about select agencies and holding companies that will help us align and prioritize opportunities that create win-win partnerships
Engage and support internal and external teams assigned to respective partnership efforts and project manage on behalf of BD team to insure we keep momentum and drive towards outcomes
Attend industry events to learn more about marketplace needs and report back to internal teams to help inform business opportunities and priorities
Support execution of go-to-market plans for select categories of business (e.g. movie studio, tune-in, etc.)
Partner with Product Marketing to create unique value proposition positioning and collateral
Provide requirements to enhance capabilities (e.g. movie on demand, tune-in), all the while rolling up your sleeves with x-functional partners to solve for any problems in effort to create best in class solutions
Partner x-functionally to build and deploy new solutions and ways to do business (e.g. self-service portal)
Participate in solving for attribution reporting needs with x-functional teams – determine what we can do (sales lift, brand lift), for whom (what type of client), with whom (data partners), and how do we do it
Support execution of pilot programs that will help us scale to national, regional, and local clients
Conduct return on investment analysis of client campaigns using advanced solutions by factoring in costs for targeting and reporting to insure increased revenue, higher yield, and improved profitability
Support and partner x-functionally to define and prioritize product requirements (e.g. HH Linear addressable, TVE/ VOD addressable), platforms (e.g. self-service portals), and next generation reporting (e.g. attribution)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in media, marketing, data, technology, consulting, or related fields
