Job Title: Lead Application Developer
Location: Alpharetta, GA
Job Duties: ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Lead Application Developer at our Alpharetta, GA location. Responsibilities: Participate in the design and development of web applications. Plan and execute software deliverables. Act as a technology resource with responsibility for architecture, analysis, design, development, and implementation of responsive user interface. Participate in software design sessions, perform heads-down software development, work on technical integrations with backend APIs, and work with Quality Assurance (QA) to assure timely deliverables. Maintain and develop improved interfaces for new and existing software applications. Develop and enhance systems/software and data structures that meet business objectives. Investigate and resolve software application issues and collaborate with clients, product managers, architects, and analysts to review requirements and designs. Create and maintain technical documentation and participate in project planning and release management. Interface with other technical and business associates to collaborate on software requirements, support, and development issues.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field plus ten (10) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus seven (7) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus ten years of experience.
Work Experience: Three (3) years of experience must include: Front-end MVC application architecture; Front-end MVC framework, including AngularJS; Creating re-usuable UI AngularJS components; Unit and integration testing using Junit, Karma, and Jasmine; Responsive design and Single Page Application (SPA) development; JSON data exchange format; Version Control platforms (SVN, Git or BitBucket); Agile methodologies; RESTful APIs, Web services, and Microservices; J2EE; Developing enterprise-scale cloud applications; Tomcat on Linux platform; and Enterprise Service Bus and Kafka.
