Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare tax work papers used to complete federal and state income taxes, property taxes, franchise taxes, and any other corporate level tax returns, work with outside tax partners.
Prepare required federal and state extensions and any required estimated payments.
Prepare certain state tax returns and tax accruals.
Collaborate and respond to any Cimpress tax department requests.
Collaborate with our external sales tax return provider on any data requests.
Research tax issues and entity structuring to support international business expansion and new entities to assure tax efficiency.
Review tax returns related to our international subsidiaries.
Calculate the tax provision in accordance with GAAP for the audited financial statements and prepare related footnote disclosures.
Research and respond to federal, state, local and foreign tax notices, participate in advocating the Company’s position in tax examinations
Plan and initiate tax planning strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
BA/BS in accounting or related field is required, Master’s degree in Accounting or Taxation is preferred
5+ years’ experience in public accounting or a public company.
National public accounting firm experience preferred.
Proficiency with MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook is required.
