The Town of Ipswich and the Ipswich School District seek qualified candidates for full-time exempt position of Human Resource Director. Responsibilities include a wide range of human resources functions for the District and Town including payroll compliance, benefits management, new hire administration, education waivers, educator licensure tracking, substitute training, job postings, pre-employment physicals, leave compliance, workers’ compensation, employee relations, retiree relations, knowledge of the organization function, producers, policies, laws and regulations of town governments with particular knowledge of labor relations.
Must exercise considerable independent judgment in decision making frequently acting on behalf of the School District and Town in accordance with established policy and procedures.
