Business Transformation Manager
As an integral part of Capgemini’s Business Transformation Services (BTS), you will help guide our clients towards large-scale transformations using automation and technology solutions at the very forefront of innovation. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of business operations at large and will take responsibility for fine-tuning and orchestrating technology-enabled transformation projects. We seek focused and inspired individuals who can build close, trusting relationships that are key to delivering the seamless and efficient transitions that clients expect from Capgemini.
The focus of your role will be designing, selling and delivering end-to-end solutions with an emphasis on best-in-class F&A processes leveraging intelligent automation, people change and controls enhancement. This is a unique opportunity for you to influence the way Capgemini clients do business. Our clients – some of the world’s leading companies – operate large-scale business service operations, often across many locations and with a variety of different technologies. Your job will be to help them on their journey to achieving intelligent finance transformation.
What you will bring
- Finance & Accounting skills (P2P, R2R, O2C) are a must; FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Project Accounting are a nice to have
- Management consulting skills are a must; project management, technology, finance transformation skills are nice to have
- Travel typically
- Market and leading practice insights in core finance processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A as well as F&A Shared Services and Target Operating Models (TOM)
- An in-depth expertise in 1-2 silos of core finance processes such as P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A or global business services
- Offer insights on leading practice P2P, O2C, R2R, FP&A and Shared Services Target Operating Model (TOM) design, build and implementation
- A passion for understanding the latest advancements in automation and new technologies, and the diligence to apply these to solve business problems
- Vitality, drive and resolve in overcoming challenges and seeking new innovative solutions
- An understanding of the design and implementation of finance solutions in complex international organizations
- Solid consulting experience in working with clients to design and deliver solutions
- Insight in spearheading programs and project management – PMP certification a bonus
- Exceptional organization skills and flexibility in guaranteeing that projects are correctly resourced, managed and delivered
- An ability to adjust and adapt to the rolling, day-to-day changes that transpire in the running of large projects
- A willingness to travel
- At least 3-6 years experience working in multinational companies or consulting environments (with leadership and team roles)

Business Transformation Manager (1):
Performs Stream Management role / key Subject Matter Expert Role during transformation projects for internal and external clients.
Ensures the delivery of a high quality, professional and proactive customer focused service when leading work for his / her stream. Secures consistency of the recommendations with other streams and alignment of the outcomes to overall project targets.
BT Manager (1):
Is responsible for delivering stream deliverables on time and within the budget.
The role includes stream plans management, reporting to the project manager.
General Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
- Ownership relevant project financials (relating to streams under your management), work plan, resource allocation making adjustments when required, monitors progress, assesses risks that may impact outcomes
- Proposal co-development (from client request through to final issue and potentially subsequent project delivery);
- Delivery of projects / project streams to time, cost and quality
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- If requested, supports sales pursuits to design transformation plans for BPO clients, working with bid management team, transition management and solution architects
- During project delivery
Leads recommendations development
Identify and manage changes in scope, obtain client buy in
Present ideas and solutions persuasively to gain buy-in, presents issues and recommendations effectively, using appropriate tools such as presentation slides, flip charts, agendas
Secures deliverables are provided according to commercial agreement.
Monitors and reports project progress
Monitors risks and prepares mitigation plans
Provide feedback / secure feedback is provided
- Provide guidance and advice to individuals ensuring that they obtain opportunities to enhance or support personal and professional growth and learning
- Contribute to development of transformation assets documentation (like GEM, GPM)
- Support transformational transition as SME / Lead
- Contributes to development of transformation agenda for existing and new clients
7-10 years (3 years min relevant experience in the role) Bachelor’s degree
Role Specific Competencies:
- Should be master in generic and specific process, generic technology, Analytics, Problem Diagnosis & Solution
- Should be experienced in People skills (Task Manager), Stakeholder Management and Benchmarking & Best Practices Assessment
- Should be proficient in People skills (Task Leader), and Sales & Marketing.
Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
