Our North American Interiors Division is looking for a HR Generalist for its Auburn Hills Technical Center, MI.

The role of the Human Resources Generalist is to support in all areas of Human Resources, i.e. recruitment and employment, personnel records, employee relations, job evaluation, compensation management, training, database administration and special projects.

The main responsibilities are:
Coordinate and assists management in all staffing and recruiting activities, search firms, university relations, and advertising.
Prepare and send offer letters.
Manage immigration process for employees.
Manage and maintain computer requisition database.
Conduct formal company orientation with new hires.
Maintain record keeping within Faurecia standards.
Counsel management on Federal and State Employment law.
Create and maintain training matrices and associate training records.
Ensure associate information in HRIS systems is accurate and up to date.
Answer employee queries related to payroll and other HR related matters.
Manage HR reporting tasks: monthly headcount reporting, Key Performance Indicators, budget and forecast.
Monitor the effectiveness of employee relations programs and policies.
Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and their dissemination through employee booklets, and/or meetings.
Function as the HR deputy for all programs based on the requirements of the Faurecia Program Management System.
Support benefits administration.
Alignment with Facilities on meeting site facility standards and assurance that housekeeping is in line with Management expectations.
Development and mentorship of HR interns.
The employee is responsible for conducting their job within the Faurecia standards.
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
Other duties as assigned.
The Human Resources Generalist shall support the leadership and commitment from top management according to the NAO environmental policy and ISO 14001:2015.

The candidate will have/be:
Bachelor's in Human Resources or related field, required
2+ years Human Resources experience, required
Proven leadership and communications skills required
Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Excel, Word, etc.) - HR Access, SAP and GlobalView knowledge is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
International mindset
Good oral and written communications, customer contact and presentation skills
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks with efficiency
Must have strong anticipation skills, quick reactivity and flexibility
