Job Introduction:
The Video Solutions Boston Team is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated resource to help support the Boston Conference Center. This candidate will manage the technical environment in our Boston Conference Center and will also be responsible for product testing, inventory and meeting setups.

About the job:
Provide Audio Visual technical support for high profile meetings in a managed conference center.
Maintain and operate equipment in support of webcasts, controlling cameras, audio, and content sharing using live video encoders.
Deploy and test equipment prior to the start of each event; assist employees in initiating meetings.
Integrate AV equipment with Unified Communications tools such as Skype for Business to support remote meeting attendees.
Maintain displays, projectors, video conferencing equipment, microphones, and audio systems for voice lift and integrated telephony.
Identify, resolve and track equipment malfunctions.
Maintain inventory of spare equipment, cables, adaptors and accessories.
Perform equipment additions and upgrades as needed to keep the environment stable
Prioritize and complete work orders accurately and timely.
Provide technical assistance to other Technicians when required.
Maintain a clean, safe and organized AV Control Room.
Assign work orders to team of contracted resources, ensuring each event has appropriate technical support.
Serve as point of escalation for technical issues, engaging with IT and Business managers to provide updates.
Act as main point of contact with Conference Center manager.
Implement, monitor and report on process improvements.
Coordinate major upgrades ensuring smooth introduction of new capabilities.

Desired skills:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years of Audio Visual experience.
High degree of demonstrated customer service and hospitality skills. This includes a heightened sense of customer focus at all times to include the AV team as well as internal and external clients.
Requires solid communication and negotiation skills.
General knowledge of business operations required.
General knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies.
