Title: Staff Accountant

Work Location: We’re looking for a Staff Accountant to work in our Foothill Ranch, CA offices.

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Supervising: This is not a supervisory position

Type of Work:

Chroma Systems Solutions, Inc. is a leading designer and manufacturer of power testing instruments and systems including programmable AC Power Source and DC Power Supplies, AC Loads and DC Electronic Loads, Digital Power Meters and Automated Testing Systems for applications in LED Lighting, LED Drivers, Aerospace, Defense, Military, Automotive, Medical, Battery, Solar, Marine and Regulatory Testing

Responsibilities:

· Weekly Bank Reconciliation

· Weekly reconciliation of GL Spreadsheet

· Credit returns

· Close month end, Audit P&L for Re-classes

· Accrue bad debt, depreciation, prepaid expenses, prepaid insurance

· Generate month end reports and tie to GL

· Gross Margins Report

· Payroll entry

· Commissions calculation and report monthly

· Audit monthly commissions report

· Audit monthly sales tax report: Monthly

· Monthly GL Split by region

· Tracking all ATE Sales Jobs- final review costs (BOM & Materials, Relieving out of inventory)

· Cost accounting projects/performance indicators

· Monthly GL Split by region

· Check expenses reports and payment selection

Qualification

Requirements:

· BS in Accounting. Preferred OR 2-4 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Accounting field.

· Intermediate/advance level in excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advance functions, moderate macros)

· Proficient in MS Office- Outlook, word and Power point

· Sage Mas 200 experience a plus.

· Excellent customer support skills.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

· Ability to multi-task AND Strong basic computer skills.

· Knowledge in Cost Accounting- BOM, Standard Costing, FIFO, S/N Methods

· ERP/MRP understanding
