Senior Financial Analyst – UCP/Wilshire

Job Purpose:
The Senior Financial Analyst will report to the Vice President, UCP/Wilshire Studio’s finance and will work closely with Universal Cable Productions and Wilshire Studio’s creative and production finance teams to manage the studio’s OCF and FCF finance plan.

Essential Responsibilities:
Ownership of OCF and FCF development pacing for Cable Entertainment west coast studios.
Manage overall deals and script commitments against budget, determining outstanding obligations and risks/opportunities
Prepare term deal recap reports for use in various deal analyses / negotiations
Oversee greenlights for pilots, and production recap cost reporting
Assist UCP/Wilshire studios production operations team and production finance team with show cost reporting and greenlight snapshots
Coordinate and prepare quarterly recoupment summaries of development overall deals, working closely with UCP/Wilshire Studios production finance executives
Lead development automation system initiatives for development commitment tracking against budgets
Liaison with creative, business affairs, human resources, and payroll on various topics relating to studio overall deal and script agreements
Various ad-hoc presentations and development/production projects
Additional duties as assigned


Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of finance experience
