Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Weapons Acquisition Program Support Specialist/Logistician supporting the Nuclear Weapons Acquisition Division, AFNWC/NDB, which is part of the AF Nuclear Weapons Center. This Division has responsibility for developing, testing and producing systems and components related to nuclear strategic weapon systems for our nation’s warfighters including the Long-Range Standoff (LRSO) Cruise Missile (CM).

Job Responsibilities:Duties may include but are not limited to:
Applies knowledge and experience in AirForce Technical Order Management Systems including S1000D Interactive Enhanced Technical Information Management System (IETIMS), and Technical Order Distribution and Print Service (TODPS) to develop a comprehensive Technical Data acquisition plan
Provides functional support adding Recommended Change, Computer Program Identification Number (CPIN) and Nuclear data segregation capabilities to ETIMS
Applies knowledge and experience in acquisition logistics philosophy, policies, and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post-award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles
Perform as a key participant in developing TO weapon system supportability approaches that further Government acquisition strategy goals and objectives
Responsible for accomplishing the generation and review of logistics support documentation that includes the following: Technical Order Life Cycle Management Plan (TOLCMP), Technical Manual Contract Requirements (TMCR), Technical Order Life Cycle Verification Plan (TOLCVP), Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSP), Technical Orders (TOs), Technical Manuals, Electronic Technical Manuals, and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns
Analyzes and compares government and prime contractor TO plans and schedules with program status to recommend those actions required to comply with plans, identify changes to plans, and recommend corrective actions to resolve problem areas
Participates in process improvement activities and meetings, to include IPT meetings, stand-up meetings, logistics reviews, Program Management Reviews (PMR) and other meetings in support of workload requirements
Assists the program office by preparing, and coordinating Program Management Agreements, Service Level Agreements (SLA), MOA/ Memorandum of Understanding (MOA/MOU), SOO, SOW, and other program documents or directives as assigned
Coordinates all logistics elements (e.g., spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, provisioning, etc.) to ensure all integrated logistics support requirements for the program are identified and tailored to meet government needs.
Current Secret security clearance (preferred investigation closeout within last six years)
AA/AS + 15 years of relevant experience that includes Technical Order Acquisition Experience related specifically to developing/writing a TOLCMP, LCMPs, and TMCRs
Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing
Current Top Secret security clearance
Knowledge of HQ AFMC and ETIMS program office processes on all TO system requirements, development, testing, and implementation of Technical Order Life Cycle Management Plans
BS/BA + 15 years of relevant experience
Must be willing/able to travel as needed (approx. 30%) and must be able to rent/operate rental cars while on travel
