Operations leader for a Part 145 Repair Station. Responsible for the daily operation of both maintenance, repair, and overhaul operations as well as assembly. Manages both shop (union) and office employees (exempt & non-exempt).
Essential Responsibilities:Additionally, as the Operations leader, you will:
Manage the Supply Chain operation to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety
Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards
Team management of salaried employees as well as union operators
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (Or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing)
Minimum of 6 years of experience in Operations / Manufacturing Management (Including experience in Change Management, driving and implementing change to optimize the business focusing on safety, quality, delivery, improvements, and cost)
Considerable experience in Change Management, driving and implementing change to optimize the business focusing on safety, quality, delivery, improvements, and cost
Experience in a unionized environment, including handling of grievances, conflict resolution, and performance management
Experience in the aerospace industry
Extensive experience in Lean
Experience in reading blueprints or other technical documents
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
