We are looking for a self-motivated individual to support our Claim Analysts and Account Executives in the representation of our clients in unemployment cases. The ideal candidate likes a quiet environment working with information and solving legal problems.
The duties of a Claim Auditor include scrutinizing unemployment claims to ensure accuarcy, eligibility, and proper resolution. Claim Auditors analyze comprehensive written judgements from judges, assess benefit charges in relation to claim status, and conduct regular follow-ups on pending claims, all while upholding standards of quality, productivity, and turnaround time.
Experience in unemployment cost control, human resources, and/or client services a plus but not required. Business to business experience helpful.
Specific Job Duties:
- Answering phones in a professional and eloquent manner. Being able to analyze the call and direct appropriately.
- Transcribing calls from governmental agencies.
- Collecting, unsealing, categorizing and digitizing legal and confidential documents according to predefined categories
- Emailing court decisions and other case-related documents to clients.
- Handling and managing of all court documents and correspondence.
- Organizing additional records such as letters, legal correspondence, or case files.
- Analyzing unemployment decisions and charges for accuracy.
