GENERAL SUMMARY & SCOPE
The Sr. Supplier Relations Specialist will support the execution of collaborative performance plans and coordinate across functions/departments to monitor and communicate current joint initiative development (JID) programs with key strategic suppliers. This role will work closely with Brand Partners on key collaboration activities and provide management of compliance. Additionally, this position will support all onboarding/training of new suppliers to ensure success in the Ulta systems.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Resolve compliance issues/discrepancies with cross-functional teams through root cause analysis and address accountability with internal/external partners
Lead monthly scorecard meetings with Supplier Brand partners within a specified segmentation to discuss KPI’s and actionable solutions to improve performance metrics
Review scorecards and update performance metrics/reports with internal cross functional teams
Supports JID initiatives as needed through project execution and brand partner management
Manage projects with internal teams to implement supply chain solutions
Create and maintain Supplier Operations best practices
Provide inputs to updates for the supply chain guide
Maintain relationships with brand partners
Manage new supplier onboarding
Create supplier communications using consistent format and branding
Develop internal communications for socialization of Supplier Operations initiatives across functions/departments
Manage Ulta Chargeback program disputes
Support the processing of PO Changes
Minimum of five years direct work experience in supplier performance or three years of experience of project management capacity in retail.
Experience in multiple and/or large scale project management, preferably within the context of a retail environment or commensurate business experience.
Working knowledge of Merchandising and Supply Chain Process Best Practices.
Retail background with strong process and systems acumen.
BS or BA University degree
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines while using analytical and problem solving capabilities.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, project team and other departments within the organization.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment.

Travel approximately 10% of time. (Stores, meetings, conferences, training)
