The registered nurse will provide direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs of the patients in accordance with physicians orders, OSHA, nursing and department guidelines within our outpatient based vascular procedure lab.
Some responsibilities include:
- Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
- Identifies and monitors patient care requirements by recording and reporting symptoms and changes in patients' conditions. Record patients' medical information and vital signs. Administers medications as ordered.
- Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses, conditions and physician orders.
- Consult and coordinate with health care team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Delegate and supervise personnel
- Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations and treatments.
- Coordinate admissions and discharge planning. Direct and coordinate infection control programs, advising and consulting with specified personnel about necessary precautions.

Minimum Qualifications
Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Experience : Ideally one year of experience in a Specials Procedures/Cath lab, but not mandatory. New grads are encouraged to apply.
Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current BLS certification, ideally have current ACLS certification, and Georgia Registered Nurse License
