AECOM is seeking a spectrum managers looking to apply Radio Frequency (RF) management principals to support analysis and process support for legacy and emerging spectrum dependent technologies. The work requires the analyzes of technical data for communication equipment/systems submitted to eliminate conflicts in frequency assignments which arise as a result of the heavily congested radio frequency spectrum. Knowledge of radio equipment and radio propagation characteristics aids in the review and coordination at the National or International level, as required. The mid-level spectrum manager works with minimal Senior Spectrum Manager involvement to coordinate with appropriate federal, nonfederal, military and other government officials of the United States and foreign countries, to carry out the above actions and conducts basic analysis/studies of Department of the Navy radio frequency assignments with a view toward adjustment, sharing, or reassignment to ensure spectrum efficiency for authorized Navy use.
+ Graduate of the Inter-service Radio Frequency Management School (IRFMS) or The Army Spectrum Management Course.
+ 7+ years of experience working within Spectrum Management.
+ Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret or higher clearance
+ Must be US Citizen
+ Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
+ Knowledge of the either the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) or the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) system frequency assignment process.
+ Knowledge of any of the following software’s: Spectrum Certification System (SCS), Equipment Location Certification Information database (EL-CID), Spectrum XXI, Host Nation Spectrum Worldwide Database Online (HNSWDO), or Stepstone
+ Experience submitting Government Master File (GMF) assignments
+ Experience coordinating with national level spectrum management offices like Army Spectrum Management Office, Air Force Spectrum Management Office, or FAA
