The Threat Hunting Program is managed within the DHS Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/ responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nation’s cyber and communications infrastructure. The Threat Hunting Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The Program defends the United States (U.S.) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks. CACI supports the Program by monitoring and analyzing threat data and security events and incidents in both classified and unclassified IT operational environments.

Candidate will be responsible for business process analysis based on exercise planning, preparation and activation that involves formulating both well-thought out processes and exercises for assigned cybersecurity incident-types, presenting process and exercise planning to senior management and other agencies, preparing recommendations for organizational after-exercise actions, and establishing format and reporting requirements.
More About the Role:
build realistic, challenging, and relevant exercise scenarios that meet strategic and operational exercise objectives for state, local, territorial, tribal, federal, and international stakeholders.
Provide end to end cyber exercise support including scheduling, coordinating, and conducting planning meetings, work group meetings, and exercise facilitation.
Gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, conduct analysis, devise recommended solutions, and package the entire process into briefings, papers, or reports suitable for executive- level leadership.
Support full spectrum of cyber exercises including: Seminars/Workshops, Tabletop Exercises (TTX), Functional Exercises (FE) and Full-Scale Exercises (FSE).
Represent the organization as the prime technical, cyber and exercise, contact during exercise planning, conduct, and post exercise. Interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
You Will Bring These Qualifications:
US Citizenship required.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI is required (must have held a SCI level clearance within the past 18 months).
In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (EOD) for continued employment.
Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 5 years related technical experience required for the level 3 role. An additional 4 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Strong leadership experience or capacity required.
Planning and conducting exercises and report preparation experience is required.
Understanding of the various types of cyber threats and attack vectors, and the consequences of cyber-attacks.
Strong ability to schedule, announce, plan, coordinate and execute large-scale, dynamic planning conferences, work group meetings, interim progress reviews, teleconferences and both secure and unclassified video-teleconferences.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) course.
Cyber related certifications (CISSP, CompTIA Security +, etc.)
Other FEMA-related emergency response or COOP training.
Ability to lead a team of exercise planners during the planning and conduct of cyber exercises.
Ability to produce results in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet iterative deadlines.
Ability to facilitate discussion-based exercises for groups of up to 100 people.
