Venture Forthe, one of WNY’s leading home health care agencies, is looking for a Lead Mental Health Clinician to join our growing home and community-based service department.

As a Lead Mental Health Clinician, you will be preparing our service providers to work in the field as representatives of Venture Forth, giving our clients the support they need to re-emerge into society as members of their communities.

Overview:

The Home & Community Based Services (HCBS) lead staff is responsible for assisting the HCBS Supervisor with staff oversight and management-based tasks.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision to HCBS staff in the Western New York area.
  • Provide technical support to staff as needed with documentation items.
  • Complete documentation needed to obtain service authorizations.
  • Retrieve and record information in available EHR formats.
  • Provide support to clientele as needed.
  • Travel to various office/client locations as needed.
  • Provide ongoing training to staff.
  • Maintain contact with and provide information as needed with collaborators/team.
  • Collaborate with the HCBS Supervisor and Clinical Director as directed/as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by VFI Administration.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Social Worker (LMSW or higher)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
  • Licensed Psychologist
  • RN
  • Masters of Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy

In addition, this individual must have at least 2 years working in behavioral health, 3 years relevant work experience related to employment assistance and a minimum of 18 months of disability/employment case management experience.
