What We Are Looking For: THE LASH LOUNGE® at Ponte Vedra – Nocatee Town Center in Ponte Vedra, FL (Jacksonville, FL) is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and professional First Impressions Coordinator (Front Desk/Receptionist) for a new, upscale eyelash salon opening in Fall 2018. This position will be a dual role as receptionist AND Eyelash Extension Stylist. Therefore, this candidate must have their Cosmetology or Esthetician license. This candidate is a pivotal position within the salon as they provide the first and last impression our clients and must possess excellent client service skills and have exceptional attention to detail. They need to be extremely organized, deeply passionate, and most importantly self-reliant and competent to complete tasks & requests in a timely and orderly fashion. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to truly help run a salon and take a deep dive into all of the operational details, including our pre-opening, soft-opening, grand-opening, and post/ongoing operations. This position would be a key component to our salon’s success by helping to oversee everything from human resources, employee training, operations, and even marketing tasks. They would be reporting directly to the Salon General Manager and upon request by the GM, acting as salon supervisor at times to help ensure the salon runs smoothly.

As our salon’s First Impressions Coordinator you will perform the following essential required functions…
Manage the appointment scheduling for Lash Lounge clients and proper handling of incoming and outgoing calls with the expected “Gold Standard” customer service level.
Manage the proper tracking and input of client records into the salon software with correct client lead source and promotional codes.
Ensure stylists are keeping proper, detailed records and notes on each client after conducting client consultations and prior to service application
Manage an organized work area, the preparation and filing of the client charts, intake forms, consultation forms, after care hand-outs, package purchase agreements, and all other forms as needed. Ensure stylists are signing up clients with all proper paperwork
Be proficient and educated in working the POS software, sales transactions of clients for services and retail items, and manage the end of day cash drawer reconciliation.
Schedule first appointment and follow-up (touch-up) appointments and ensure stylists are assisting in this as well per client
Educate clients on retail products’ key benefits.
Resolve issues such as scheduling conflicts or mishaps, product returns, customer complaints, and general salon maintenance to keep everything running and looking its best.
Responsible for ensuring all stylists are maintaining a clean and organized procedure room/work station
Responsible for helping with inventory management for necessary items needed at procedure room/ work stations
Responsible for sharing in general overall general cleanliness of salon, including stocking the retail area, merchandising area, keeping common areas picked up and organized, helping with laundry duties, picking up and taking out trash, sweeping, cleaning, dusting, and whatever is required to keep the salon looking top-notch
Assist with promotional events at the salon or outside the salon to help market the salon and build the brand.
Help take a lead role in details concerning human resources, employee training, operations, and even marketing tasks
Complete all of The Lash Lounge Required Training
All other duties as prescribed.
MUST posses Florida Cosmetology or Esthetician license

Must possess strong direct report skills, clearly explaining tasks performed and pending tasks to help in the launching of the store
Must be able to reports directly to GM throughout the day with ongoing conversations (via phone, video chat, and email) to ensure salon is running smoothly and tackle any needed tasks and duties
Ability to pass background check
Must be fluent in English
Complete all Lash Lounge Required Training: Proprietary Training will be provided on all services.
One (1) year of experience performing salon services
One (1) year management or operational experience
