Ensuring OptumCare has the right people in place to help our business thrive, the Manager, Talent Management will ensure we’re asking the right questions, collecting the right information and facilitating the right conversations in order to understand how to best support our growing workforce. They will influence people and programs / processes that contribute to positive teammate experiences and ultimately business engagement and performance. They are a highly-motivated self-starter who has a passion for people and is interested in helping us develop our workforce so that they can meet the needs of our business.

Essential Function/Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and deploy programs / processes that evaluate and grow talent across the organization – including but not limited to performance management and measurement, 360 assessments and succession planning
Coordinate across programs / processes to create a talent management system that aligns with and supports our broader talent strategy
Build and monitor program / process progress, impact and performance methodology so that we’re able to understand outcomes
Make data-driven recommendations for solutions that address and improve outcomes
Manage day-to-day activities including associated complexities, risks and ambiguity
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization
Present to Senior Leadership on talent management initiatives – and be responsible for creating buy-in and collaboration on program / process enhancements
Draft communication and support materials, including presentations that effectively inform and / or facilitate discussions / decisions for a wide variety of audiences
Exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Medical Group commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer

Education

Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
Master’s degree in Industrial / Organizational Psychology, Organizational / Leadership Development or Human Resources preferred
Experience

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience creating, leading, participating in and / or supporting talent management programs / processes
Knowledge of HR principles, functions, methods and best practices
Advanced project management and influencing skills, from concept, to planning, to implementation, to results measurement
Strong interpersonal skills e.g. listening counseling and coaching, negotiation skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to impact skill acquisition, capability building, coaching, and motivation
Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
Ability to work well on cross-functional project teams while executing large-scale projects from vision through implementation
Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence Senior Leaders
