Under general supervision, works with service line leadership in support of business/strategic initiatives to support business development through the acquisition and interpretation of data. Evaluates practice and provider characteristics, population characteristics, clinical coordination, patient outcomes and system intelligence to map and quantify clinical effectiveness. Provides research, data, financial analysis and recommendations that lead to enhanced financial and operational performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1 Works with service line leadership to report on metrics for access, patient experience, provider productivity and engagement, financial metrics, revenue cycle metrics, clinical/patient care metrics, care collaboration/coordination/ effectiveness metrics, technology metrics, human resources metrics and other metrics as assigned.
2 Benchmarks metrics to national, regional, local, organization specific and other recognized benchmarks including modeling the service line business units for achievement of desired benchmarks.
3 Works with Allscripts certified resources and EMR optimization team/process to develop/utilize functional or potential functionality of systems to mine data for clinical analysis in support of ad hoc efforts and in support of clinical strategic initiatives. Works collaboratively with team/consultant to optimize provider utilization of EMR.
4 Participates with service line teams in developing gap analyses and action plans to gap reductions.
5 Participates as part of the team to evaluate and create bundled payment methodologies/associated operational components.
6 Works with current systems such as GE Business, Anodyne, Lawson, Compass, Crystal and other systems to mine data, analyze and report on data essential to the management of the service line.
7 Works with new IT solutions. Develops, in conjunction with others, corresponding metrics from these systems (e.g., patient engagement solutions-tablets/portal, Patientrak, SurgiMate, MDEverywhere, Practice Insights and other potential solutions).
8 Participates in the budget process, capital process and development of compensation models in terms of providing and analyzing data.

Strong data management and analysis skills to identify trends that translate to sound business opportunities;
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/requests simultaneously;
Healthcare experience in clinical analytics is desirable
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or IT
1 - 3 years of experience
Epic/Revenue Cycle and System Reporting Experience preferred
