Job Summary:
Vivint Supply Chain is looking for a self-motivated individual who, under the direction of the Inventory Management Manager, will help lead and motivate the inventory control team and plan and organize best practices regarding accuracy of inventory within field inventory. This candidate must have a high attention to detail and demonstrate a proactive mentality to prevent inventory management issues. The candidate will use Excel and SAP extensively to process and act on tasks. This individual is specifically serving as a “sentinel” for the team to help pin point inaccuracies/variances in field inventory and will work with field technicians to correct variances and improve processes. The candidate must have a keen eye and ability to organize and analyze collected data into easily disseminated and actionable information. This person must be capable of leading effectively with clear and concise communication with co-workers and superiors, thus increasing accuracy and awareness in inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:
Work directly with field technicians, helping resolve inventory inaccuracies, training on inventory management processes, and compiling daily reports for various organizations and levels of management.
Establish and publish performance measurements to monitor and improve performance.
Have prior experience with inventory management systems and processes. SAP experience preferred.
Analytical skill set that helps solve issues by analyzing raw data and putting results into action.
Communicate effectively between cross functional teams and leadership.
Develop companywide inventory accuracy by training and continuous improvement programs.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.
Ability to learn quickly and to clearly translate knowledge to other departments in simple language.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including: Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Needed Skills:
Required Skills -

Excellent communications skills, including problem solving, team motivation, and project management.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables/functions/data filtering).
Minimum Qualifications -

1 - 2 years of experience in inventory management.
Preferred Qualifications –

Prior experience with SAP.
Some college experience.
APICS, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
Basic understanding of SQL.
