Alight Solutions Is Looking For A 401K/Retirement Record Keeper Administrator

The 401K Record Keeper Administrator is accountable for supporting his/her team in providing outstanding service delivery for assigned client(s). The 401K Record Keeper Administrator is responsible for projects to ensure timely completion of deliverables, achievement of objectives, and meeting or exceeding operational measures and contractual performance standards. This includes owning and completing complex tasks.

Your Impact as A 401K/Retirement Record Keeper Administrator

The 401K Record Keeper Administrator will respond promptly, thoughtfully, and effectively to changing work environments, changing priorities, and new situations and will possess the skills and ability to communicate effectively, and appropriately, with internal resources, clients, and third parties in a global and virtual working environment.

Role Complexity

Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature where established practices, procedures and precedents guide the work.
Able to follow procedures and investigate issues in order to solve problems.
May work on more complex assignments that require review.
Balance forward recordkeeping for qualified defined contribution plans; trust reconciliation;
Determination of plan eligibility, vesting, contribution calculations, benefit calculations;
Responsiveness to questions from clients;
Communicate with clients, advisors, and other professionals regarding plan operation.
Self-motivation to work with little direction or supervision
Interaction

May have extensive interaction with internal and external clients to identify, research and resolve problems.

Supervision/Leadership

Receives general instructions and follows defined procedures,
Manages daily work within established guidelines and receives general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Review the Alight Leadership Model expectations for the ARL listed above.
Individual with knowledge of the principles and practices within a technical/ professional discipline.
Possesses analytical, technical and problem-solving skills and abilities.

Knowledge and Experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel skills; and
Strong verbal, written and consultative communication skills;
Strong analytical and mathematical skill set with attention to details
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; organized – track deadlines
Experience in the retirement plan industry preferred;
Knowledge of OmniPlus/Sungard record-keeping platform is preferred.
Work Conditions

Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
Contact with clients-whether directly aligned to project work or for developing the client relationship.
Frequent computer use at workstation up to 2 hours at a time or for extended periods of time.
Access information using a computer and related components and peripherals.
Participation in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of industry experience.
